-- details will be updated
Nov 27, 2023
TSC vote to record move to LFC will go out for polls today
Nov 20, 2023 - Updates from meeting with LF Connectivity
- LF Connectivity wants to do a press-release once Magma is moved on board
- There is a new project that also in process - (ISP Toolbox )
- Ideally both will be on board before end of 2023 and the PR will happen in January, 2023
- Heard from LF legal that in order for this to happen we need to hold a vote at Magma TSC
- Som is working with LF legal for proper wording and will share with TSC - hopefully this wee
- Magma vision for 2024 needs to be aligned with LFC vision
- Jordan V will work with LFC as liasion and will participate in LFC foundation recruitement drive in 2024H1
I proposed that the unscheduled Magma TownHall be converted to a Webinar format and be held in Jan after the LFC press release. - It will be a 'Magma under LFC' theme - using the material currently under discussion for the townhall
- There will be other LFC updates. However, Magma will be main focus
- This will hopefully draw a bigger audience (last townhall had only 20 odd registration)
- Sandra Jackson (Deactivated) to check into key difference between webinar and zoom town hall. - Zoom is more interactive anyone can chime in with questions. The webinar is interactive as well but allows for more control Q&A are handled through a controlled chat.
- Vote on slack - propose to move the town hall to a webinar in January under LFC.

Outreach Report | - Magma 2024 - working draft of roadmap
- Starter kit
- Town Hall
- Blog: Difference between Magma and O-Ran
| Som Sikdar (not able to attend. Updates -->) | Dec 18- Press release planned for tomorrow. There will be a quote from TSC chair (Jordan Vrtanoski )
- Som to share PR draft during meeting
- LF-Connectivity Website will containt Magma link and project brief as follows:
"Magmacore is the brain of a mobile network. If you provide internet or communication services, your network needs a packet core and Magma is a next-generation packet core that delivers the latest innovations at a lower cost of ownership. Magma is already vibrant Linux Foundation project with that was designed from the ground up to deliver flexibility and openness for the next generation of service providers including MNOs, ISPs and MSOs. "
Comments welcome.

Roadmap doc (WIP) - (wip) Shared Workbench for SOW/Roadmap - Google Docs - Outreach meeting is on calendar this week
- Need update on Magma starter kit
- Start planning on 'Magma-2024' vision for discussion with LF
- Townhall has been changed to LF Connectivity/Magma Webinar in January. Details to come.
NOV 13
- The technical issue has been adequately explained. And we have assurance from LF IT that this will not be a problem for the rescheduled event
- We had a discussion in last week's Outreach meeting. It will be difficult to get the message out considering it is the Thanksgiving holiday next week
- My recommendation is to do this around December 10th
- Additionally, what does the TSC think about doing a Webinar format event INSTEAD of townhall?
We have several very good presentations.
