July 24th Updates:
- Lucas → Sec Fixes
- Needs conversation for which sec fixes are in scope for 1.9 (should happen today)
- C++ migration and how to do sec review (lots of code, not enough people to do code review), path forward is to be aware but go forward anyway
- Want to enable warnings in C++, have not done yet. Yogesh , will be talked about next wed.
- Max → things not fixed in 1.9 should be disclosed
July 31 Updates
Aug 7 Updates/Notes - Yogesh - 15279, blocker - temp workaround. Is someone able to update packages for older builds (essential fix we need immediately, priority issue). Credentials for uploading package to jfrog? Reach out to Max to understand how this was done in the past.
- Tapas - who will test the package? Rely on community, post to slack/GH
- Rely on sanity checks
- Ben check with LF IT on jfrog credentials, if not check with Max.
- Yogesh sec related issues, prioritized prs, updated posted to sec slack channel.
- Lucas will have technical discussion with Jordon on architecture on what is in/out of this release
- Yogesh devops, questions on proposal?
- Ben - reach out to folks that have not voted, check with abstain, 1 week additional max.
- Check current bylaws about “active TSC members”
- Lucas - if feasible propose bylaw change so that if someone does not vote at all they lower the majority threshold.
